To test the strength of my patternmaking and garment construction, I brought to life a design of mine. The Joanna Pleated Jacket takes inspiration from the classic school uniform. Turning this normally boring way of dress into a statement garment. Pleats make up the sleeves, front bodice pieces, and back bodice pieces. It buttons up on the side. As well as being adorned with a Peter Pan collar and epaulets. The back has a wind flap resembling the front style flap.
